Knowledge Exchange Between Rehabilitation Specialists from Odesa and Lviv
Rehabilitation experts from Odesa shared their knowledge with specialists from the Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center in Lviv.
The center provides comprehensive medical assistance to servicemen and civilians, including both adults and children who have lost limbs.
Key areas of focus for the center include reconstructive surgery, orthopedics, and prosthetic fabrication. They not only fit prosthetics for people with disabilities but also produce them on-site.
Additionally, the center offers physical, psychological, and psychosocial rehabilitation. Specialists believe that this exchange of experiences between regional rehabilitation centers will significantly improve the quality and duration of treatment and recovery for the wounded.
«We have already begun preparations for the first training sessions and workshops for specialists from both regions,» emphasized Vasyl Rybak, head of the rehabilitation department at the city health department.
