Epidemiological Overview in Odesa
According to the regional center for disease control and prevention, the incidence of ARVI and influenza in Odesa is currently at a normal level, being 31% below the epidemic threshold.
In the past week, there were 2564 reported cases of ARVI and influenza, with 70.2% of those being children under 17 years old.
Concerning COVID-19, there has been a 2.1-fold decrease in cases in Odesa, with nine laboratory-confirmed cases, all among children. Free vaccination points for COVID-19 continue to operate in the city's family clinics.
There were 42 cases of acute intestinal infections reported last week, 61.9% of which were children.
Isolated cases of viral hepatitis and airborne infections were registered. No cases of diphtheria, measles, rubella, or tetanus were recorded during the week.
The epidemiological situation in Odesa remains stable and under control.
