Innovative Medical Technologies: New Frontiers
On November 6, 2025, the city clinical hospital No. 10 hosted a scientific conference focused on innovative technologies and their integration into healthcare.
Doctors of general practice, therapists, cardiologists, and other specialists attended the event.
The conference, organized with the support of the Odesa Region Family Medicine Association, marked a significant step in the continuous development of the local medical community.
The General Director of Hospital No. 10, Chief Cardiologist of the Odesa City Council, Denis Sebov, presented details about the National Health Screening Program set to launch in Ukraine on January 1, 2026.
Experts discussed the scope of screenings and the requirements for medical institutions participating in this initiative, emphasizing the importance of adhering to accessibility standards.
Participants also received information about the latest technologies already being implemented at Hospital No. 10, including the capabilities of fundus cameras for imaging the retina and an artificial intelligence program for primary screening of diabetic retinopathy.
Additionally, the use of modern technologies in primary healthcare was discussed.
