A New Chapter in Pediatric Healthcare in Odesa
The Children's City Clinical Hospital No. 3 in Odesa has inaugurated a state-of-the-art emergency, urgent, and trauma care department. This is the first facility of its kind in the Peresyp district, providing specialized medical care for children.
Comfortable conditions for patients and medical staff have been established, with the latest medical equipment and oxygen points available at all beds. Special attention was paid to accessibility and inclusivity during the renovation process.
Since the beginning of 2024, surgical interventions have commenced, totaling around 150 surgeries, including over 100 ENT procedures.
The new emergency, urgent, and trauma care department, along with the surgical and endoscopic units, are fully operational. To date, nearly 1000 surgical interventions, over 800 trauma procedures, and around 70 endoscopic procedures have been performed.
In total, 2735 young patients have been hospitalized in the upgraded departments: 1375 in the surgical unit and 1360 in the trauma unit. The absence of complications following surgical interventions attests to the high quality of medical care.
A modern reception and diagnostic department has also been established within the children's hospital, equipped with isolated boxes that ensure high levels of infection control and prevent the spread of nosocomial infections.
Young residents of Odesa now have access to a cutting-edge pediatric clinic that meets contemporary standards, where qualified medical professionals provide quality care under the state medical guarantee program.
