Financial Support for Superhumans in Odesa

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, with the backing of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, will provide 2 million euros for the development of the Superhumans prosthetics center in Odesa. This was announced by Helen Bakker, the Director-General for European Cooperation at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a joint press conference in Odesa.

On Supporting Ukrainian Medical Initiatives

Helen Bakker emphasized that the ongoing rocket and drone strikes by Russia highlight the critical need for assistance to Ukraine, both military and humanitarian. The Superhumans center plays a vital role in restoring the health of military and civilian individuals affected by the war, and this financial support will significantly contribute to its operations.

The press conference also announced the establishment of a new cooperation format titled “Ukraine – Benelux,” which includes the foreign ministers of the respective countries, including Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga.
