Youth Health Initiatives: Empowering Teens in Odessa

Last week, specialists from the «Youth-Friendly Clinic» at the Primary Health Care Center No. 2 collaborated with representatives of the Kyiv District Organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine to conduct an interactive event titled «Know to Live!» for students of Odessa Lyceum No. 9.

Participants in the training received valuable information about transmission routes, diagnostic methods, and preventive measures for HIV, viral hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infections, as well as the risks associated with substance use. The students created and presented posters showcasing their vision of a healthy lifestyle.

Lyudmila Kucherenco, head of the «Youth-Friendly Clinic», shared insights about the clinic's services and answered questions from the teens regarding available assistance.

The «Youth-Friendly Clinic» at PHC No. 2 offers comprehensive medical and psychosocial support for health preservation tailored to the needs of adolescents, ensuring a friendly approach and psychologically comfortable conditions for every client. Here, individuals can also take free and anonymous tests for HIV and hepatitis.

Clinic address: Bazarnaya St., 77. Phone: (048) 705 87 04.
