Free Psychological Assistance for Veterans and Their Families: How to Access Support
The government provides free psychological assistance to veterans and their families. Services are available individually, for families, or in groups.
Psychological support for veterans is offered at three levels:
- Social-psychological — includes social services for support, adaptation, and counseling.
- Psychological — individual sessions with a specialist.
- Medical-psychological — rehabilitation and treatment with a team of specialists.
The government fully reimburses providers for the cost of psychological assistance services for veterans and their families.
