Sambo Tournament in Odesa: Honoring Legacy and Promoting Sports
On May 10th, a significant sambo tournament was held in Odesa, dedicated to honoring the memory of the esteemed president of the regional sambo federation, Oleksandr Adzelenko.
Over 100 participants from various cities across Ukraine competed in this event. During the opening ceremony, the Odesa regional sambo federation, in collaboration with its partners, donated drones to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, known as «Artan», for use in combat missions. This tournament not only pays tribute to a remarkable coach but also serves as an essential platform for the development of young athletes and the promotion of a national sport that embodies technique, strength, and character.
