Odesa’s pride: adaptive athletes showcased their skills in Greece
A thrilling rowing marathon took place in Greece, featuring athletes from Odessa with special needs.
The teams from Odessa navigated a symbolic route along the majestic Mount Olympus and showcased their strength in a tug-of-war competition. The two-day event concluded with the grand opening of the new sports organization Maritime Events Organisation, attended by honorable guests including the Ukrainian consul in Thessaloniki, Yevhen Shkvira, and local government representatives. A trial rowing session for children was also organized.
The Odessa rowing team expressed their gratitude to the city authorities for supporting adaptive sports and assisting athletes in their endeavors.
