Odesa National University Ranks Among Top Ukrainian Universities
Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov has once again made it to the list of the best higher education institutions in Ukraine, achieving a high position in the 2024 Consolidated Ranking.

According to the ranking, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv continues to lead the list of the best universities in the country, maintaining its position for the eighth consecutive year.
It is worth noting that in 2023, Odesa National University ranked 8th in the overall rating.
The 2024 consolidated ranking of Ukrainian universities includes results from 235 higher education institutions.
The comprehensive ranking is based on data from the most reputable national educational rankings, including «Top-200 Ukraine», «Scopus», and «NMT Score for Contract», each employing different evaluation criteria.
Previously, Odesa State Ecological University ranked 15th among all universities in Ukraine based on efficiency metrics.
Additionally, it is important to remember that at the beginning of 2024, plans were announced by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine regarding the reorganization of universities, which may involve merging Odesa Ecological University and the Physical and Chemical Institute for Environmental Protection and Human Safety into Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov.
