Students from Odesa Win Medals at Physics Olympiad
Students from Odesa achieved remarkable results at the national physics olympiad, winning two silver and three bronze medals. All winners are from Richelieu Lyceum, competing against 150 participants from various regions. This was reported by Oleksandr Lonchak, the director of the Odesa Regional Education Department.
The II degree diplomas were awarded to Nazariy Vrashchuk (10th grade, competing for the 11th) and Yuriy Semenov-Hamarov (10th grade). The third place was taken by Kostyantyn Bordiyan (9th grade), Dmytro Loshkaruk, and Lev Shevchenko (8th grade). Nazariy Vrashchuk also received an invitation to the qualifying camp for the Ukrainian national team to participate in the International Physics Olympiad.
The contribution of the physics teachers at Richelieu Lyceum – Andriy Katz, Vadym Manakin, and Oksana Kolesnikova – was also highlighted in preparing the prize winners.
