Odesa Rescuers Shine at Ukrainian Firefighting Sports Championship
From March 24 to 27, Chernivtsi hosted the Ukrainian Championship in firefighting sports, where Odesa rescuers delivered outstanding performances. Over 160 athletes participated, but our teams truly made us proud!
The women's team from Odesa region clinched the championship title!
Victoria Ratnikova secured 1st place in the two-event competition and set a new national record in the 100-meter obstacle course.
The men's team also performed excellently, finishing in 3rd place overall.
Alexey Khizhnyak won gold in the 100-meter obstacle course, silver in the two-event competition, and in the ladder climb.
Yuriy Skrypka conquered the ladder climb, bringing home gold for the team, while Vladislav Tsyganok achieved an honorable 3rd place in the 100-meter course.
