National Junior Synchronised Swimming Championship in Kyiv
From November 15 to 18, the National Junior Synchronised Swimming Championship took place in Kyiv.
The competition featured 65 athletes from Kyiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk regions.
The Odesa team was represented by young athletes from the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve "Chornomorets".
In the junior technical solo category, Odesa's Vladyslava Kocerba claimed the top spot. Sofia Sarukhanyan and Taisia Pochepynska from Odesa secured the third place in the duet events.
In the group programs, the Odesa team, which included Vladyslava Kocerba, Sofia Sarukhanyan, and others, won silver medals in both technical and free programs and bronze in acrobatic group competitions.
In the technical solo for boys and girls, Sofia Sarukhanyan emerged as the champion, while her duet with Yelyzaveta Syedova also took first place.
The Odesa team won gold medals in the combined groups event, comprising Yelyzaveta Syedova, Maria Borisova, and others.
The athletes were trained by coaches Olha Nikolaychuk and Svitlana Pershina.
