Innovative Safety Education for Children in Ukraine
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Police, and the State Emergency Service are collaborating on the project «Mobile Safety Classroom» aimed at improving safety awareness among children.
This mobile classroom consists of specially equipped vehicles where educational sessions are held for young people.
Recently, one of these vehicles parked at Odesa Lyceum No. 100, where emergency service representatives conducted an engaging session for 4th and 5th graders.
Children learned about the importance of following safety rules in various situations, including mine and fire safety, traffic regulations, and household safety practices.
These mobile safety classes foster a sense of responsibility among children regarding their own safety and that of others. Instructors utilize interactive and game-based formats to enhance learning.
The project is supported by UNICEF in Ukraine.
