Educational Conference in Berlin: New Opportunities for Ukrainian Students
Throughout the week, Berlin (Germany) hosted a significant UNESCO conference focused on school management, Project Schools - 2024.
Odessa was represented at the conference by students and teachers from the "Maryinsky" Lyceum.
As part of the Ukrainian-German project aimed at the recreation of children and teachers, Odessa students had the opportunity to visit educational institutions in Berlin, exchange experiences with peers from other countries, and learn about the features of the German education system.
Participants also had the chance to explore the history, culture, and architecture of Berlin, visiting the East Side Gallery, a world-famous segment of the Berlin Wall turned into an outdoor exhibition, the Brandenburg Gate — a symbol of unity, Checkpoint Charlie, a reminder of the divided Berlin and the Cold War, and the New Museum housing artworks from various eras.
