National Acrobatic Championship in Lviv: Athletes Shine
From December 12 to 15, Lviv hosted a national acrobatic championship in memory of the esteemed coach of Ukraine, Oleksiy Cherniavyy.
More than 400 acrobats from 9 regions and Kyiv showcased their skills.
Among the participants were athletes from the Odessa children's and youth sports schools No. 1 and No. 3, competing as a united team.
In the candidates for master of sports category among women's groups, the second places were claimed by Sofia Puzdrach, Alina Fesyk, and Anna Lutsker. Among women's pairs, Polina Melnyk and Renata Rodchenko won bronze medals.
In the 1st category, the winners were Odessa's Arthur Aloyrov and Volodymyr Kucherenko.
In the 2nd category, the female pair of Oleksandra Lystopad and Zlata Pustova took the victory, while Odessa's Kateryna Khorostiana and Anna Kilivnyk secured second place.
In the 3rd category, the Odessa pair of Victoria Akopyan and Nikole Naumenko finished in second place.
In the 1st youth category for individual performances, Polina Bukhanko placed second, while Maria Kikhai triumphed in the 2nd youth category.
In the pair competitions of the 3rd youth category, silver medals were awarded to the female pair of Arina Minina / Myroslava Slyusarenko and the male pair Ruslan Fesyk / Daniil Bilyi.
The athletes were coached by trainers Olena Roshynets, Oksana Kopecka, and Tamara Zahrebelyna.
