Honoring Heroes: Events for Defender's Day in Ukraine
In celebration of Defender's Day in Ukraine, a range of thematic events took place in educational institutions across Odessa.
Specifically, students participated in: lessons of courage and memory titled «Dignity and Honor of Ukrainians», presentations, roundtable discussions, documentary screenings, and exhibitions of children's drawings and creative works titled «I am a descendant of Cossacks».
Additionally, young residents of Odessa engaged in sports competitions named «We are Children of the Cossack Lineage», charity events called «Thank You, Defenders of Ukraine», workshops titled «Amulet for the Ukrainian Warrior», patriotic flash mobs called «Together We Are Strong!», and meetings with military personnel.
Thematic literary exhibitions were also organized in school libraries.
The aim of these events was to promote national-patriotic education among children and youth, as well as to popularize the heroism of military feats.
Eternal glory to those who protect their homeland, and eternal memory to those who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine.
