MMA and Kickboxing Event in Odesa Honoring the Armed Forces
On September 11, an exciting evening of mixed martial arts (MMA) and KICKBOXING-PRO took place at the Red Line in Odesa, organized by Ukrainian Fights Promotion with support from the Odessa regional government, in honor of the Armed Forces UAV units.
The event was announced by the organizer, Alexander Hordiienko, president of Ukrainian Fights Promotion.
At the beginning of the event, the star host, actress Anastasia Tsymbalaru, and the country’s leading ring announcer, Sergey Bril, welcomed the attendees. Following this, a video message from UAV Command Chief Brovdi Robert (Madyar) expressed gratitude to the organizers and wished success to the fighters in the octagon.
During the opening ceremony, welcoming speeches were given by the first deputy head of the Odessa regional administration, Alexander Kharlov, president of the Ukrainian kickboxing federation “ISKA” Oleg Manzyuk, head of the charity fund “Modern Ukraine” Volodymyr Havrush, deputy of the “Zeus” group of companies Igor Varbanets, and co-founder of Ukrainian Fights Promotion Dmytro Popovych.
Notable sports figures, officials, military personnel, and business representatives were also present at the event.
The evening featured 9 fierce bouts, including five MMA fights and four professional kickboxing matches, with participation from some of Ukraine’s top fighters, including European and World champions.
The night was filled with thrilling fights and spectacular knockouts.
Special guests of the event included the band “Dubky,” who entertained attendees with their lively musical hits.
From the command of the UAV forces, Colonel Vitaliy Medvedev presented a flag to the organizers as a token of appreciation.
