Student Creativity: City Stage of the 2025 Competition
On January 30, 2025, the city stage of the XXIV All-Ukrainian student creativity competition titled 'Let’s Unite, My Brothers!' was held for students in grades 5-11 of general education institutions.
This year, the epigraph for the works was taken from Taras Shevchenko's words: 'Our thought, our song will not die, will not perish... Here, people, is our glory, Glory of Ukraine!', and the theme of the works was 'Creating for the Future'.
A total of 63 students from grades 6-11 of communal general education institutions in Odessa participated in the competition.
The jury noted that all works were imbued with patriotism and pride for Ukraine's heroic past. The authors revealed the processes of development of national culture and its role in the fight for independence.
Special attention was given to the contributions of prominent regional artists and scholars to Ukraine's cultural life.
In the nomination 'History of Ukraine and State Building', the jury highlighted the logical presentation of material, research nature, and participants' ability to work with historical sources. In the 'Literature' category, students provided diverse creative works (essays, stories, poetry).
Based on the jury's decision, winners of the city stage of the XXIV All-Ukrainian student creativity competition were determined and awarded diplomas from the Department of Education and Science of the Odessa City Council. Teachers who prepared the winners were also thanked.
