Football Tournament Honoring Ukraine's Heroes
On May 30th, a football tournament took place in the village of Yasky, Odesa district, dedicated to the memory of 12 fallen soldiers who gave their lives for Ukraine.
This sporting event was not only a tribute to the heroes but also a symbol of unity, strength, and the indomitable spirit of our people.
We would like to thank those who supported the organization of the tournament:
- the head of the "Terentiev" charity fund - Roman Terentiev;
- the head of the Odesa RDA - Oleksandr Hrynchak;
- the head of the charity organization "This Matters" - Denys Zharkov.
Thanks to these individuals, we managed to create an event that brought together the community, the families of the fallen, youth, and athletes.
As part of the event, a football tournament titled
"Cup of Community Heroes" featured:
- FC «Mayaky» - the team consisted of soldiers from the National Guard of Ukraine in Odesa;
- the Yasky community team;
- the team from the city of Bilyaivka.
Football on this day was not just a game — it was a living memory of those who gave everything for our peaceful sky. We sincerely thank all participants, organizers, and guests who shared this important day with us.
During the event, 12 awards were presented to the families of the fallen defenders, sadly posthumously...
We remember. We are grateful, and we will win.
