Artistic Initiative for Supporting Soldiers
During October-November 2024, the Municipal Institution of Extracurricular Education «Odesa City Center for Choreographic Arts» hosted the charitable artistic project «Open Your Palms for Good» and the National Seminar-Practicum on «Styling Ukrainian Folk-Stage Dance and Methodological Approaches to Teaching Modern Dance Directions in Choreographic Groups».
This event was organized in partnership with the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine and the Odesa regional organization.
Funds raised from ticket sales for the concert «Open Your Palms for Good» were allocated for the purchase of essential equipment and materials for soldiers undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at medical facilities in Odesa.
The seminar's program included master classes from leading experts in choreography, demonstration lessons, and discussions on current issues in teaching modern dance in children's choreographic groups.
All participants received certificates of professional development upon completion of the seminar.
