Choral Festival
On December 20, 2024, the "Light of Christmas" choral festival was inaugurated at the Odessa Literary Museum, organized by the T. I. Boiova Art School No. 15.
The Director of the Culture Department of the Odessa City Council, Ivan Liptuga, welcomed the participants, emphasizing the importance of preserving the cultural heritage of the city.
Choruses from art schools in Odessa and surrounding areas performed Christmas compositions, leaving the audience with memorable impressions.
An academic conference titled "Christmas Melodies in Contemporary Music" was held as part of the festival.
The conference addressed the development of Ukrainian singing and innovations in choral education.
The second day of the festival, December 23, 2024, will focus on online performances by various groups. This year, choirs from several Ukrainian cities, as well as ensembles from Norway and Moldova, are participating in the festival.
