On December 19, the Odessa Philharmonic hosted a celebratory concert for the exemplary choir "Zabava" from Art School No. 3, commemorating 25 years of artistic achievements.
The Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and European Integration, Ivan Liptuga, congratulated the school’s team and presented awards.
«It is essential for young musicians to step onto the big stage from an early age, growing and honing their skills alongside masters of their craft. Recently, the Opera House hosted a cultural project titled "Odessa. U-NEXT", which united the art schools of Odessa, showcasing the synergy of primary, secondary, and higher music education. This is how stars of Odessa emerge in the professional environment,» said Ivan Liptuga.
During the concert, the "Zabava" collective performed alongside the Chamber Orchestra of the Odessa Regional Philharmonic named after D. Oistrakh (conductor - Volodymyr Dykyi).
Young performers displayed virtuoso mastery under the guidance of Svitlana Smirnova. The concert also featured prominent musicians and singers who have collaborated with the collective for many years.
The children’s choir "Zabava" has been reaffirmed as "Exemplary".
