Exhibition 'Unyielding Strength' at the Odessa Museum

February 7, 2025 marks the opening of the exhibition 'Unyielding Strength' at the Odessa National Art Museum.

This project highlights the strength of the Ukrainian people resisting occupation: we will explore resistance movements, methods of struggle, informational and cultural opposition, as well as women's initiatives that have become part of the true narrative of standing against Russian aggression.

At the opening, project curator Olga Mukha will guide visitors through the exhibition.

Starts at 3:00 PM. Free entry.

The exhibition will feature: caricature figures of 'liberators' by Sergei Zakharov, memes by Maxim Palenko, videos about damaged cultural sites in Trostyanets and Okhtyrka, filmed by the Museum Crisis Center, the consciousness maze 'Inner Reality' with posters by Crimean artist Antik Danov about the schizophrenic nature of occupation, the documentary film 'Resistance' by Akim Galimov, and videos from the Ukrainer project 'Deoccupation', alongside works by artists Maria Kulikivska, Alevtina Kakhidze, Liya Dostlieva, Yulia Po, Emine Ziyatdin, and others.

Especially for the exhibition in Odessa, the third episode of the 'Wounded Culture' series — 'Odessa. Oral History' will be presented, recounting the impact of a Russian missile strike on the museum on November 5, 2023, and the subsequent recovery.

The presentation of the new episode of the 'Wounded Culture' series will take place on February 8 at 4:00 PM, featuring the director of the 'Territory of Terror' museum, cultural expert Olga Gonchar.
