Exhibition of Ukrainian Art in Odesa
As part of the celebration of Italian culture, an exhibition featuring the works of students and faculty from the Art and Graphic Design Faculty of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky was opened in Odesa, titled «Italy Through the Eyes of Ukrainian Artists».
The exhibition showcases 25 artistic pieces created in various techniques: oil painting, watercolor, and graphics. It's a vibrant artistic dialogue between Ukraine and Italy.
Participants shared their experiences of visiting Italy, which inspired their creative endeavors. The Ambassador of Odesa to the Italian Republic, Attilio Malliani, expressed gratitude to the students and faculty for their interest in Italian culture and praised the organization of the exhibition.
«On June 2, Italians celebrated the Day of the Republic. This week is dedicated to Italian culture, culminating in a festival on Saturday. I am confident that everyone will find inspiration there», remarked Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
The events for the Italian Culture Week are organized with the support of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and Marketing.
