Zelensky Calls for the Return of Abducted Children
On April 24, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky presented a list of 400 children abducted by Russia from occupied territories to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Direct quote: "These children are in Russia against their will. Unfortunately, this terrible issue has arisen due to the war. The Russians have abducted thousands of children from temporarily occupied areas of Ukraine.
We need to bring them all back. Just like the thousands of prisoners, both military and civilian, who have been held in Russian prisons under inhumane conditions for years. South Africa plays a key role in our coalition for the return of Ukrainian children. I hope President Ramaphosa will assist us in this endeavor".
