12th Children’s Film Festival: A New Chapter in Kids’ Cinema
From June 13 to 22, 2025, Ukraine will host the 12th Children’s Film Festival — the largest film festival for children and teenagers.
This event will bring together around 10 cities, including Odessa.
The festival will be held on a charitable basis, allowing anyone interested to attend for free. In Odessa, free screenings will take place at the «Cinema City» in the FontanSky Center: one morning session each day from June 13 to 22, 2025.
Invitations to the screenings extend to organized groups of children with disabilities, orphans, and internally displaced persons. Additionally, everyone interested can register on the «Children’s Film Festival» website to participate.
The twelfth festival of film arts for children and teenagers «Children’s Film Festival» will occur in a hybrid format – both online and offline.
This annual international festival introduces young audiences to new European films as well as classic world cinema. The annual winner is determined through audience voting – upon entry to the theater, each visitor receives a ballot to evaluate the films.
The festival is organized by the film company «Arthouse Traffic» in collaboration with the NGO «Art of Cinema» and is supported by the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema.
