Easter Traditions: Online Seminar for Educators in Odesa
On April 10, 2025, teachers and students from educational institutions in Odesa participated in the online seminar «Rise, Easter Egg!».
This event took place as part of the nationwide practical seminar «The Song of Ukraine Unseen», dedicated to the symbolism and meaning in Ukrainian culture.
The primary goal of the seminar was to introduce participants to Easter customs and teach various skills in decorative and applied arts.
Attendees had the opportunity to listen to presentations by folk artists about traditional Ukrainian art forms and participate in workshops on egg painting, Petrykivka painting, crochet, straw weaving, and embroidery.
At the end of the seminar, all participants received certificates.
Organizers: The Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council in collaboration with the interregional public organization «Black Sea Region «Cossacks of Zaporizhzhia».
