New Children's Center in Bessarabia: A Safe Haven for Kids

A modern Children's Day Care Center «Bessarabian Fortress» will open in the village of Bessarabia. This center will provide a safe space for children aged 5 to 14 from large, displaced, and vulnerable families. This news was shared by the Bessarabia Village Council of the Bolhrad District.

In the new center, children will have the opportunity not only to play and learn but also to receive support from psychologists and speech therapists, prepare for school, and make new friends in a gadget-free environment.

The project is being implemented with the support of the international charitable organization SOS Children's Villages Ukraine, as part of the «Emergency Assistance Program» in cooperation with the NGO «Culture of Democracy» and the Bessarabia Village Social Services Center.

While the children are engaged under the care of educators, their parents will have the chance to attend to their own needs — looking for work, consulting a doctor, or addressing other urgent issues.

Additionally, the center will host special meetings for parents to help them better understand their children, support them, and build trusting relationships.

«Bessarabian Fortress» signifies a vital step towards strengthening the community through caring for children and their future.
