Commemoration of the Fallen in Odessa
Today, at the intersection of Nina Strokata and European streets in Odessa, a commemoration event titled "Honor. 9:00" took place. The main goal of this event is to remind every resident about the significance of a daily moment of silence in memory of those who fell victim to Russian aggression.
Commemorating the fallen
Tens of thousands of people, both military and civilian, have lost their lives due to armed aggression from Russia. The event organizers emphasize that each of us can take a minute each day to honor their memory.
City residents joined in
Concerned residents joined the event, using placards to remind drivers on the road about the moment of silence. Drivers understood the brief delay and stopped to pay their respects to the fallen.
It should be noted that commemorations are announced daily in all cities of Ukraine, according to Presidential Decree No. 143/2022
"On a nationwide moment of silence for those who died as a result of armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine."
"Stop, remember, honor. Memory is action!" — stress the event organizers.
They invite everyone to join them every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:50.
