New Marriage Registration Options for Military Personnel
Ukrainian military personnel now have enhanced options for registering their marriages through the "Diia" platform.
According to the press service, "due to the high demand for online marriages, priority registration has been launched for military personnel".
For those serving in the Armed Forces who wish to marry online, the steps are as follows:
open the Army+ app;
navigate to Services;
select Online Marriage.
You will then be directed to "Diia", where available dates will be shown considering your priority, allowing for a separate online marriage registration. Next, fill out the application, choose whether to change your surname after marriage, specify the delivery address for the marriage certificate, and confirm everything with Diia.Signature.
On the day of your marriage registration, click the link in "Diia" for the online ceremony, where a representative from the Digital DRAСS will be waiting for you. The marriage process lasts up to 30 minutes. All you need is a smartphone and internet access," the report stated.
It is noted that over 4,000 couples have officially married online, around 19,000 applications have been submitted, and more than 2 million proposals have been made through "Diia".
