Charity Week in Odessa 2025
Odessa has kicked off the «Charity Week 2025». This annual initiative brings together local authorities, businesses, and the community to perform good deeds for the benefit of society.
Traditionally, the project lasts for one week each year. This time, 15 weeks of good deeds are planned from April 4 to July 18.
«We are gathered here today not just to launch the «Charity Week» — we are opening our hearts, sharing our energy, and investing our dreams for a better future. It is especially gratifying that these good deeds transcend Odessa and unite all of Ukraine!
Thanks to your efforts and volunteers from various cities, goodness becomes a universal language understood by everyone, regardless of residence, age, or profession», said Odessa's mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
In 2025, the project has expanded and is being implemented in other cities across Ukraine.
Welcoming the participants, the initiator of the «Charity Week» and deputy mayor Pavel Vugelman addressed the crowd:
«I truly believe in the boomerang of goodness. I believe that goodness always returns! I believe that to do good deeds, one does not always need resources or money, just the desire to help!»
