Rehabilitation Forum: Science and Practice
A forum titled «Rehabilitation and Sensory Technologies: Science and Practice» was held in Odesa, organized by the Ukrainian Scientific Institute of Rehabilitation and Resortology.
The event was supported by the city service office «Veteran Hub».
The primary goal of the forum was to support specialists working with military personnel, assisting them in overcoming the effects of stress, trauma, and fatigue, thereby restoring the connection between the body and movement.
The program featured contemporary approaches to somatic therapy, sound therapy, and practical workshops on animal-assisted therapy and emotional recovery techniques.
Participants included psychologists from the National Guard of Ukraine, rehabilitation specialists, and experts who provide daily support to military personnel.
«All the modern techniques presented at the forum aim to enhance emotional wellbeing, assist in overcoming stress disorders, and facilitate adaptation to civilian life,» noted leading physical therapist Svitlana Trapeznikova.
The organizers emphasized that the forum united science, practice, and humanity.
