Celebration of Creativity in Odesa
On September 27, in Odesa, at the T.G. Shevchenko Park on the «Mushlya» concert stage, a wonderful celebration of creativity took place — the event «From Phonograph to Smartphone», organized by the municipal enterprise «Parks of Odesa» together with the organizations «IT Grandmothers», «Silver Age», and «Golden Mean» as part of the «Planet of Longevity» festival, dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons.
This day served as a vivid reminder that age is not merely a number in the passport but a true state of the soul.
Talented performers amazed the audience with their acts: a fashion show themed «Senior Catwalk», heartfelt poetry and humor readings, soulful song performances echoing from the heart, and lively dances.
A particularly impressive part was the performance by the strongman Mykola Pasichnyk and his students — they showcased their skills and brought joy to the participants through engaging contests.
The day concluded with a delicious porridge treat, which the strongman cooked himself, adding, as he said, «not only spices but also a prayer — so that everything goes well for everyone». This warm event reminded us that true youth lives within us as long as we create, share kindness, learn new things, and support each other. Old age is not an end, but rather a wonderful continuation of life, filled with meaning, joy, and love.
