Moldovan Culture Festival in Odessa
Odessa — a city that harmoniously blends various cultures and traditions.
The Moldovan community holds a special place here, known for its unique songs, dances, and customs.
On August 16, 2025, the Municipal Garden of Odessa hosted a Moldovan culture festival - a space filled with friendship, warmth, and sincerity.
Odessans and visitors were treated to performances by the wind orchestra and soloists from the O. Salika Municipal Musical Theater, along with ensembles such as «Barvinok», «Tineretza», «Ethnos», and others.
Children also had the chance to participate in workshops, and there were themed photo zones for everyone to enjoy.
Additionally, guests were introduced to the exquisite Moldovan costumes and patterns.
The event was organized by the Department of International Cooperation, Culture, and Marketing of the Odessa City Council and the O. Salika Municipal Musical Theater, with the support of the All-Ukrainian National-Cultural Moldovan Association, which preserves the history, culture, customs, and language of the Moldovan community in Ukraine.
