Partnership Forum in Dobroslav: New Horizons for Communities

As part of the Village Day celebrations in Dobroslav, an important event took place — the partnership forum "Open Community — Open World," which marked a new phase in the development of international and inter-municipal cooperation in the Odesa region.

Over 60 participants gathered for the forum, which featured three panel discussions with more than 20 speakers from Ukraine and abroad — the UK, Latvia, Italy, and the Netherlands.

The discussions focused on best practices of community cooperation, new development opportunities, current challenges, and shared projects.

As a result of the forum, five partnership memorandums were signed, strengthening the collaboration of the Dobroslav Village Council with other communities and institutions:

  • Odesa Regional Development Agency
  • Cherkasy Village Military Administration (Donetsk region)
  • Bрусилів Village Council (Zhytomyr region)
  • South City Council (Odesa region)
  • Shchastyn District Council (Luhansk region)

Participants included representatives from parliament, regional and district authorities, international organizations, diplomats, scientists, volunteers, and religious organizations.

Among the speakers were members of parliament, diplomats, community leaders, development experts, security specialists, and local self-government representatives.

Special thanks were expressed by the organizers to partners from other regions of Ukraine who traveled to Dobroslav from Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, and Luhansk to engage in an important dialogue about the future of communities.

The forum "Open Community — Open World" exemplifies how local initiative and solidarity contribute to the strengthening of the region and all of Ukraine.

Together to victory! Together — we are stronger!
