Honoring Ukraine's Heroes
In his address to the nation on Constitution Day, President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of national unity and self-awareness. He highlighted that Ukrainians always prioritize their country and awarded state honors at St. Sophia Square.

Zelensky also expressed gratitude to the international community for their support of Ukraine, especially to Polish President Andrzej Duda, who attended the ceremony.
At St. Sophia Square, the president presented the highest state awards. The families of fallen Heroes of Ukraine received the 'Golden Star' orders, including posthumously awarded: soldier Ostap Makarov, Colonel Viktor Polyvianyi, Senior Lieutenant Mykola Skydan, and journalist and volunteer Iryna Tsybukh.
Two Heroes of Ukraine, Junior Lieutenant Petro Gerasymovych and Junior Sergeant Oleksandr Ivantsov, also received their awards during the ceremony.
