Ukrainian Veterans to Participate in Venice Historical Regatta
This year, for the first time in one of Italy's most renowned cultural events - the Historical Regatta in Venice - a team of Ukrainian veterans from Odessa, who were injured during the conflict, will be taking part.
This has been made possible through the close collaboration between the municipalities of Venice and Odessa, as well as the coordinated efforts of Odessa's Ambassador to Italy, Attilio Malliani, and Mr. Luca Zuini from the Venice Mayor's Office.
The participation of the Odessa team in the regatta is not only a symbol of friendship between sister cities but also a powerful gesture of support, solidarity, and belief in the strength of the Ukrainian spirit.
This initiative continues the official partnership between Odessa and Venice, established with the signing of a sister city agreement.
