Summer Camp in Sicily for Odesa Basketball Team
On June 14, 2025, members of the Odesa basketball team "Fontan" from the "Fontanskyi" Lyceum departed for a summer camp in the commune of Shakka (Sicily, Italy), where they will stay until June 20, 2025.
The Odesa students will have the chance to immerse themselves in Italian culture, gain memorable experiences, make new friends, and relax.
This trip was made possible through cooperation with the Odesa city council, following working meetings between the mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, and his Italian counterparts. The visit is facilitated by a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, the head of the XII Commission for Social Affairs, as well as the Chair of the Italy-Ukraine Friendship Section, Mr. Ugo Cappellacci, and the head of the Italian Tennis Federation FIT, Mr. Angelo Binaghi.
