Triathlon Championship in Odessa: Traffic Restrictions
On Sunday, May 4, 2025, a Ukrainian triathlon (duathlon) championship for veterans of physical culture and sports will be held in Odessa. As a result, vehicle access will be temporarily restricted on one of the central streets.
The competition, organized by the public organizations «Odessa Regional Triathlon Federation» and «Southern Triathlon League», will run from 07:00 to 12:00.
The events will take place along the following routes:
- bicycle stage (20 km): Mazarliivska St. at the corner of Sabansky Lane – «Chornomorets» Stadium (Shevchenko Park) – Dmytro Lesych Lane (formerly Baryatynskyi) – Mazarliivska St. – Troitska St. – Mazarliivska St. at the corner of Sabansky Lane;
- running stage (2.5 km, 5 km): alleys of Shevchenko Park.
Due to the triathlon event, from 07:45 to 10:00, vehicle access will be temporarily restricted on Mazarliivska St. (from Dmytro Lesych Lane (formerly Baryatynskyi) to Troitska St.), except for special vehicles and motorcycles involved in the organization and conduct of the competition.
Drivers are advised to consider this situation when moving around the city.
