Traffic Accident on Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue: Child Injured
Today, April 27, a traffic accident took place on Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue.
According to Dmitry Slyuta, head of the transport crime investigation department in the Odessa region, it has been preliminarily established that a 46-year-old woman driving a «Ravon» lost control of her vehicle while exiting a car wash, crashed into a fence, and veered onto the sidewalk, where she struck a 7-year-old girl, pinning her against a parked «Renault».
The child was hospitalized with suspected fractures of the pubic bone, along with bruises and abrasions.
Authorities tested the driver for intoxication, and she was found to be sober.
The investigative operational group of the regional police is working to establish the full circumstances of the incident. The question of entering information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations is currently being addressed.
Police once again urge drivers to strictly adhere to traffic rules and be cautious behind the wheel.
