Preparation of Odessa's Beaches for the Summer Season
The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, shared updates during a television broadcast.
He stated that a directive to start preparing the beaches for the summer season has already been signed. Officials are collaborating with military and emergency services to ensure safety. The main objective is to check for shelters, clear the area of sea mines, and identify safe zones for swimming.
«It makes no sense to prevent people from relaxing. They need to unwind, get vitamin D, and relieve stress. Odessa is alive, and this is important not only for locals but for the entire country», – Kiper noted.
He also emphasized that proper beach preparation is crucial for the development of tourism in Odessa.
