Impact of Night Shelling in Odesa
This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.
The enemy targeted residential areas in Odesa, causing damage to numerous apartments and three schools, with over 90 windows shattered. At least three people were injured.
Odesa’s Education Department head, Olena Buinevych, warns about the dangers for children following the shelling:
«Please reiterate to the children: do not touch anything suspicious on the ground. Adults may share information online, but explaining the danger to children can be challenging».
All relevant services are currently working to mitigate the consequences of the Russian attacks.
An operational headquarters of the district administration will be established in the morning, providing guidance on how to submit applications for financial aid to repair windows and doors, as well as compensation under the eRecovery program.
«Additionally, our reliable partners – civic and charitable organizations – will assist by providing kits for temporarily sealing window openings», the city council reported.
