Impact of Drone Attack on Odessa
On the evening of April 21, 2025, Odessa experienced a massive assault by drones targeting a densely populated area of the city, resulting in multiple fires.
The attack caused significant damage to residential buildings, essential infrastructure, and vehicles. In three schools, over 90 windows were shattered. Two of these schools are currently operating remotely.
Information regarding the affected individuals is still being confirmed.
City officials, emergency services, and municipal teams have arrived at the scene.
In the morning, a crisis headquarters will be established at the district administration where residents can receive guidance on how to apply for financial assistance to repair windows and doors, along with compensation from the state budget under the eRestoration program.
Furthermore, reliable partners, including non-profit and charitable organizations, will provide kits for temporarily sealing window openings to assist those in need.
