Innovative Forum in Odessa: New Opportunities for Education and Business
On April 17, 2025, a regional forum titled «Odessa Innovation: People - Education - Business - Governance» was held in Odessa, uniting representatives of local authorities, business, education, and international organizations.
The main goal of the event was to discuss how to create an innovative ecosystem for the development of people, education, business, and effective governance in today's conditions.
The participants were welcomed by Igor Koval, the Secretary of the Odessa City Council.
The forum highlighted the need for modern and practical education for Ukrainian businesses, catering to both youth and workers looking to retrain.
Attendees discussed the importance of short training programs, entrepreneurial skills development, dual education, and closer collaboration between businesses and educational institutions.
Sustainable development is only achievable through constant dialogue and cooperation between business, educational establishments, and local authorities.
Such partnerships enable not only the adaptation of education to economic needs but also investment in human capital — preserving and developing talents, creating joint initiatives, and fostering an effective ecosystem for growth.
