Unique Stamp to Support Ukrzaliznytsia

In support of Ukrzaliznytsia, which recently suffered a significant cyberattack, Ukrposhta has launched a unique stamp as part of the "Own Stamp" project.

This was reported by representatives of Ukrposhta, as conveyed by a correspondent from the Ukrainian Information Service.

The new postage stamp features the artist Oleksandr Nikityuk's depiction of the iconic glass in a glass-holder — a timeless symbol of train travel. Warm, like a summer evening in a compartment, and strong, like railway tracks, this stamp reminds us that true traditions cannot be broken by any attack.

While every passenger of Ukrzaliznytsia can enjoy the signature glass of tea during their journey, the number of stamps is limited.

100 exclusive sheets featuring the legendary symbol of Ukrzaliznytsia will be randomly distributed among passengers who have sent words of support to the railway workers through the feedback form in the app from the moment it was restored after the cyberattack until the return of tickets lost due to the attack.

Each stamp comes with a special bonus — 1440 iron hugs. This is the distance of the longest railway route — Zaporizhzhia to Uzhhorod.

As a reminder, "hugs" are bonuses that passengers receive for their journeys when purchasing tickets through the Ukrzaliznytsia app. Therefore, more kilometers mean more hugs that can be exchanged for various discounts and bonuses from Ukrzaliznytsia and its partners under the loyalty program "Iron Friends," which will be relaunched soon.
