New AI Features from Google for Workspace
Google has announced a suite of new artificial intelligence features for Workspace users, particularly aimed at corporate clients. One of the standout features is the ability to create podcasts from documents in Google Docs.
This feature was initially launched in NotebookLM in the fall of 2024, but it was not available in Ukraine. Now, it is accessible to Workspace users worldwide. The AI will not only read the text aloud but also generate a podcast featuring two hosts discussing the content.
Google has yet to disclose which languages will be supported, but the feature is expected to become available in the coming weeks.
Additionally, a feature called Help me refine will be introduced, acting as a personal AI editor that provides suggestions for improving written content. This feature is set to roll out within this quarter.
In Google Sheets, a new function called Help me analyze will also be introduced. Gemini will be able to analyze data in spreadsheets, generate illustrative charts, and identify trends. This feature is expected to be released by the end of 2025.
