Restoration of Driver's Documents During Wartime

In such cases, it is crucial to stay calm. Driver's documents can be quickly restored at any territorial service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. If the owner cannot come in person, they can issue a notarized power of attorney to another person who will represent their interests.
To restore documents, the owner or authorized person must approach the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center with the following document package:
passport with the registration mark of residence (or ID card);
a copy of the taxpayer registration certificate;
a police report (if the certificate was stolen).
The approximate cost is 350 UAH for the administrative service and 540 UAH for the certificate blank. The vehicle owner can opt for a new license plate or keep the existing one. The re-registration of the vehicle and issuance of documents are carried out on the same day of the application.
