New Pilot Boat Launched in Ukraine
The press service of the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine has announced a new initiative.
This high-speed pilot boat will contribute to fuel savings and improve the timely delivery of marine pilots to vessels.
“This launch marks a significant step in strengthening our fleet,” says AMPU head Oleksandr Semyrha.
The boat is named after Serhiy Cheberyakov, an experienced pilot who tragically lost his life in 2023 while attempting to escape occupied territory.
In December 2024, the pilot boat “Bolotyn” will begin operations on the Danube, while construction of a third boat continues in Turkey.
