Support for Small Businesses in Odesa Region
According to the press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration, significant investments have been noted in business infrastructure.
The funding was allocated to:
- 15 processing industry enterprises – 74.8 million UAH
- 813 participants of the «Own Business» program – 201.5 million UAH.
- 5 greenhouse farms – 30 million UAH.
- 14 horticulturists – 42.8 million UAH.
- 36 veterans and their families – 17.5 million UAH
“In total, this amounts to 349 million UAH in state investments for the development of small and medium businesses in the Odesa region! This places us fifth among the regions of Ukraine,” officials stated.
Despite the war, foreign investors opened over a thousand new companies in Ukraine last year. The majority of these businesses were established in the capital, with the Odesa region ranking behind Lviv in popularity.
